Fort Lauderdale, Florida Mar 24, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - What's yellow, quacks, and can change the lives of at-risk children and families across South Florida? A rubber duck, of course! Kids In Distress (KID) kicked off its 17th Annual KID Duck Fest Derby presented by JM Family Enterprises, Inc., a fundraising event that offers adults 18 years or older the opportunity to adopt $5 ducks and win great prizes. 100% of the proceeds of duck sales benefit 20,000+ South Florida children and families served by KID. Ducks can be adopted at DuckFestDerby.org, now until April 1, 2023.        17,380 ducks out of 40,000 ducks are still up for adoption.  Each duck has the chance to win a fabulous prize including our grand prize of $10,000 Cash!  All funds raised from this event will provide food security, therapy sessions, family strengthening support, essential items such as diapers, wipes, and formula, and more, to the most vulnerable children and families in our community, making every duck a winner. To get your own ducks in the race, visit www.DuckFestDerby.org for your chance to win!

Duck Fest Derby counts on the generous support of local businesses. KID extends its gratitude to JM Family Enterprises, Inc., Mike Sipe Entertaining Events & Productions, RSM, Advanced Roofing, Gallagher, Amerant Bank, Wiring.com, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Brown & Brown, Sawyer & Latimer P.A., Lesley Mitchell Jones, Publix, HOLA & FPL, GEO Group, City of Wilton Manors Police Department, Yellowstone Landscape, Broward Health, Heal the Planet, BankUnited, 4Ever Young Anti-Aging Solutions, Sonitrol, Paycom, Chick-fil-A Fort Lauderdale, Southeast Land & Water Management, Coldwell Banker, Bottom Line Concepts, Peter and Sandra Nori, and Bob and Beth Leahy for their help in making the event a "quack-tastic" success.
