The software automates InDesign output production by processing files from watched hot folders. True to its name, Output Factory Server empowers printers, publishers, and ad agencies with conveyor-style output facilities that help InDesign operators avoid countless hours of tedious repetitive tasks.
The new version improves the script label functionality, which allows users to automatically insert text from specific InDesign frames into the output file name. The update fixes an issue where some script labels were omitted when exporting multi-page InDesign documents as single PDF files. In addition, the following enhancements are offered:
• Fixed an error that could happen when exporting InDesign files to EPUB and HTML.
• Missing version layers do not produce fatal warnings anymore.
• The 'Add action step' button now works as expected.
• Fixed an issue where the active document could be closed before being processed.
