Atlas Energy Solutions Welcomes Brian McConn as Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Atlas Energy Solutions Inc. (NYSE: AESI) (“Atlas” or the “Company”) today announced the appointment of Brian McConn as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing.

Mr. McConn is a seasoned executive with more than 10 years of experience leading the commercial strategy for large organizations and helping them pivot into new markets. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. McConn spent five years serving in various operational and commercial roles, most recently as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and Business Development at Hi-Crush Inc. Prior to joining Hi-Crush, Mr. McConn served in a variety of commercial and supply chain roles at Vista Proppants and Logistics and Halliburton. Mr. McConn received an B.A. degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

Our logistics platform is designed to increase the efficiency, safety and sustainability of the oil and natural gas industry within the Permian Basin. Proppant logistics is increasingly a differentiating factor affecting customer choice among proppant producers. The cost of delivering sand, even short distances, can be a significant component of customer spending on their well completions given the substantial volumes that are utilized in modern well designs.

We continue to invest in and pursue leading-edge technologies, including autonomous trucking, digital infrastructure, and artificial intelligence, to support opportunities to gain efficiencies in our operations. To this end, we have recently taken delivery of next-generation dredge mining assets to drive efficiencies in our proppant production operations.
