On June 18, 2012, Navios Maritime Partners L.P. issued a press release announcing the purchase of the Navios Buena Ventura, a Capesize vessel with an eight year time charter. The vessel was purchased from Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. for a purchase price of $67.5 million cash. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report and is incorporated herein by reference.
