Item 8.01. OTHER EVENTS

 

Magellan Health Services, Inc. (the “Company”) currently holds a contract with a customer in its commercial behavioral healthcare segment pursuant to which the Company primarily provides administrative services only (“ASO”) services and some risk services. The contract has a term expiring on December 31, 2010.  The customer has informed the Company of its intention not to renew the ASO portion of the contract. Revenues under the ASO portion of the contract for 2009 are expected to be approximately $40 million.
