On December 16, 2004, Main Street Trust, Inc. issued a news release announcing that its Board of Directors approved a cash dividend of $0.22 per share to be paid to all shareholders of record as of January 14, 2005 and payable on January 28, 2005. A copy of the news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
