The First Traditional Chinese Medicine Three-Transformation Forum of Phoenix Pharmaceutical Group grandly opened in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a treasure of ancient Chinese science and a key to unlocking the richness of Chinese civilization. Today, TCM is showcasing its multifaceted value, integrating seamlessly into and leading the global development of traditional medicine with high quality, contributing positively to building a global community of health for all. Recently, the First Traditional Chinese Medicine Three-Transformation Forum, organized by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies' Professional Committee on Medicinal Plant Resources Utilization and Protection and hosted by Phoenix Pharmaceutical Group, was grandly held in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province. Nearly 150 renowned experts and industry representatives from the field of TCM, along with over 40 overseas TCM industry representatives, gathered to exchange ideas on the theme of "TCM Resources and the Scientific, Lifestyle, and International Integration of TCM, Developing New Productive Forces for TCM."

The forum featured a series of sessions, including an opening ceremony, plenary reports, and breakout sessions, fostering in-depth discussions on various topics such as the cultivation and planting of medicinal resources, their development and application, and pharmacological mechanisms. The goal was to explore innovative development paths for biological science and fully leverage the advantages of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in disease prevention, clinical treatment, and health recovery. It also aimed to promote active participation in global public health governance and contribute to the well-being and health of people in more countries.

The opening ceremony of the forum was hosted by Professor Du Bing, a post scientist from the National Chinese Medicinal Material Industry Technology System. During the ceremony, Huang Luqi, Deputy Director of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, President of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a video speech. Professor Huang Lushan emphasized that the current period is a golden era for the development of China's medicinal resources. As a conference focused on the resources and utilization of TCM, Huang expressed the hope that experts would contribute to the advancement of China's medicinal resource industry.

Following this, She Jing, Minister of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, and Ding Hongxing, Deputy Party Secretary of South China Agricultural University, each delivered speeches at the event. Ding Hongxing highlighted that South China Agricultural University would leverage its academic strengths to actively participate in the research, development, and utilization of medicinal materials. The university aims to focus on unique research areas such as TCM resource studies, ecological planting, and the development of health-related products, while also advancing the integration of key technology breakthroughs, application of scientific achievements, and the cultivation of new productive forces.

As an industry representative, Yu Fei shared the company's 20 years of experience in research and promotion. He introduced Phoenix Pharmaceutical Group's commitment to driving the scientific, lifestyle, and international development of TCM. He also presented the "Five Ones Project," which aims to achieve an actionable plan, a research team, a new raw material, a group of patents, and a long-term profit guarantee through deep collaboration with research institutions.
