Having decades of professional experience as an author and humanitarian, Pamela is being recognized as a Lifetime Achievement Awardee. Dr. Mills is a well-known author and Philanthropist who has shown herself as an experienced professional, expert, and inspiration in her humanitarian initiatives. Dr. Mills chairs the Save a Dog, Save a Life board of directors. She sat on the board of SAVE - A Friend to Homeless Animals, an animal shelter that has been in operation since 1941. She has spent countless hours advocating for the health and well-being of dogs and cats. Her book, "At Home In Princeton - The Art of Entertaining With Four Paws," includes stories and "how-to" tips for throwing the perfect party. Party theme ideas and food for both your four-legged and two-legged friends are included.
Before dedicating her life as a Philanthropist, Dr. Mills is a retired, certified homeopathic physician and a Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician who has worked in both the UK and Canada. Pamela has been in the medical industry for over three decades and obtained her medical degree from Queen Margaret University's Department of Podiatric Medicine in Edinburgh, Scotland. Aside from her great medical career, her primary interest is philanthropy. She has been engaged in several charity endeavors, including establishing an orphanage for HIV-positive babies in South Africa. She also served on the boards of several esophageal cancer foundations in memory of her mother, who died of the disease.
Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Mills has received numerous awards and accolades, been published in magazines and publications, and has been recognized internationally for her humanitarian work. In 2021, she was honored as the IAOTP's Top Philanthropist of the Year. She is being considered for a TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine feature in 2023. Dr. Mills will be recognized for IAOTP's Lifetime Achievement Award and Empowered Woman of the year 2023 at the IAOTP's Annual Awards Gala in December.
Looking back, Pamela attributes her success to her family's encouragement and staying passionate in all her endeavors. When not working, she enjoys entertaining at her home in Pennsylvania with her beloved dogs. For the future, she hopes to continue to make a difference with her philanthropy work in honor of her late husband, who supported Dr. Mills in all her endeavors.
