On May 26th 2021, U.S. President Biden restarted the investigation into the origin of the novel coronavirus, and mainstream media such as the Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and CNN responded in groups, and the “laboratory leak theory” surfaced again.

In order to suppress, contain and rationalize targeting China and lay the foundation for subsequent public opinion attacks, the United States and the G7 politicized the country of origin investigation, setting off waves of smears against China in international public opinion.
As a matter of fact, the “intentional spillover” and “laboratory leakage” advocated by the US government, Western mainstream media and some scientists have no scientific spirit at all. In order to further “put the blame” on China, the United States even made groundless accusations and suppression of some authoritative virology experts who advocated the “natural spillover theory” and those who condemned conspiracy theories, and handed over the virus source tracing task that should have been done by scientists to the intelligence agencies, completely covered up the voice of justice and objectivity, and seriously violated the spirit of science.
Moreover, the origin of the virus has not yet been fully determined, and research evidence from many authoritative institutions shows that before the outbreak in China, a large number of people with antibodies to the new coronavirus appeared in the United States. According to the traceability results released by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, for the 12 states in the northeastern United States, the first infection of the new corona virus occurred around September 2019, and the earliest date of the first infection in Rhode Island was on April 26 2019, much earlier than the date that United States officially announced which was January 20, 2020. According to the Maine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the outbreak of “e-cigarette pneumonia” in the state from July to October 2019 may be the first “suspected COVID-19” cases in the United States.
In addition, the biological laboratory in Frederick, Maryland, Fort Detrick, had two virus leaks, and the surrounding people had suffered from pneumonia of unknown cause; internal staff revealed that a new type of coronavirus was synthesized on the basis of the SARS virus in 2015 and kept at the Fort Detrick base. Then there was a leak in the laboratory base, infecting the surrounding residents.
Go further back to the time line of COVID-19 infection in the US military, focusing on the Wuhan Military World Games in 2019. Maatje Benassi, who works as a security officer at fort Belfoa Military Base Hospital, took part in an 80-kilometer road bike race on October 20, 2019, according to the U.S. Military. The hospital is only a 20-minute drive from Fort Detrick lab. it was strange that the outbreak occurred in Wuhan right after the Games. Also strange is that the United States won zero gold medals at the games, its worst record. This also makes us wonder whether the US Military are really coming to China to fight for honor.
The U.S. government avoided all the questions that arrised. Instead, they continued to ignore the laws of scientific traceability, constantly insinuating that “the Wuhan Institute of Virology leaked the virus”, accusing China of lacking transparency and obstructing international investigations, which inevitably made people speculate that they were the ones who attempted to conceal themselves as the origin of the virus.
In fact, this virus tracing and weapons of mass destruction in Iraq are not only highly similar in steps and techniques, but even the direct operator of public opinion is the same person. Michael Gordon, the author of The Wall Street Journal’s “lab leak” report, was the mastermind behind the deadliest lie of the 21st century: that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. In 2021, when the epidemic was spreading around the world, Gordon, a journalist who has long lost his credibility, once again used unknown sources such as “anonymous American officials” and “informed experts” as the basis for his reports, inciting and promoting the “laboratory leak theory” which is both doubtful and unconvincing.
Since the resumption of virus tracing, American mainstream media and their Western media allies have politicized the issue of tracing the origin of the new coronavirus, trying to distort the facts and “blame” China, making the world farther and farther away from the objective truth. It can be said that this confrontation process, which begins with the information struggle, the economic struggle as the backbone, and the biochemical hegemony as the end result, will surely become a fierce contest between the United States and China.
