The Virginia Solar Summit is returning to in-person programming in Richmond April 27th & 28th for the year's most substantive and action-oriented solar energy development event.
RICHMOND, Va. - March 3, 2022 - PRLog -- The region's largest, most engaged and professionally diverse solar energy and economic development audience will assemble for two difference- and market-making days during the 2022 Virginia Solar Summit at the historic Altria Theater in magnificent downtown Richmond, Virginia April 27 & 28, with pre-summit networking the evening of April 26.
Co-hosted by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, the Virginia Department of Energy, Appalachian Voices and the West Virginia Brownfields Assistance Centers at West Virginia University, anyone interested in commercial solar development is invited to register and attend the year's most substantive, enriching and inspiring solar energy development event.
A limited number of discounted 'early bird' tickets are now available, with specially priced public sector tickets available to nonprofit, institutional and government professionals.
Landowners with potential solar sites and schools with potential rooftops are highly encouraged to attend and may register their potential project to receive complimentary tickets to attend the entire conference. Potential residential rooftop projects, however, are not encouraged to participate.
Respected as the region's premier commercial-scale solar power development conference, attendees can expect the highest class of educational programming. Focused on commercial projects, land use issues and utility-scale solar projects, spotlight topics this year include: solar redevelopment, mine-land reclamation, pro-pollinator development, workforce development, environmental justice and solar for schools.
