Mars Inc. buys Nashville-based pet food company NomNomNow Inc. for reported $1 billion, per Bloomberg

NomNomNow, whose brand name is Nom Nom, sells fresh food, treats and supplements for dogs and cats. The company was founded in the San Francisco area and announced a 180-job production facility in Nashville in 2018. Today, Nom Nom lists Nashville as its headquarters.
