HARRISBURG, PA, August 20, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On June 21, 2019, six cyclists departed on a 100-mile bike tour to bring about cancer awareness to those in the central Pennsylvania area. The tour, presented by Charney Investment Group and Faulkner Honda of Harrisburg, PA, supported fundraising efforts to help prostate and bladder cancer research labs at Johns Hopkins Medicine. The event had a lot of meaning for the six cyclists, as they themselves are cancer survivors.

In its second year, the bike tour raised over $2,599 in funds for the benefit of cancer research. Beginning in Gettysburg, PA on June 21 and ending on June 22 at the PNC field in Harrisburg, PA, other individuals and club riders joined at different intervals to back the historic ride. At the end of the tour, the riders were greeted by the Harrisburg Senators Baseball Club before their home game began.
