“One of the biggest things we did to differentiate us and engage our guests with technology was to move away from marketing one message to many people and instead market one message to one person — Susie vs. Tom vs. Jim — engaging them at a personal level with the things that were relevant to them, what they wanted to hear to get them into our restaurant,” said Carissa DeSantis, TGI Fridays director of Information Technology.
