The New Iberia, Louisiana, transplant has been a barber for more than 12 years and originally learned his trade as part of Louisiana's barber apprentice program. "I pride myself on engaging with every customer and listening carefully so that each customer gets exactly the look they want," said Big T. da Barber.

Big T cuts men's and women's hair and offers specialty cuts like mohawks, fohawks and hightops for $35. Basic haircuts for adults are $25 and include high and low fades, taper fades and drop fades. Kids' specialty haircuts are $25, and kids' basic haircuts are $20.

For the summer, Big T da Barber is offering a promotion on Tuesdays. He will do a basic kids' cut for only $10 for children between 3 and 12 years old. In addition, over the summer, Wednesday is men's day, and basic haircuts are only $15.
