ETV's SkyAI Technology is a Winner at the US-China Innovation Alliance's InnoSTARS Houston Competition

By: PRLog
Emerging Technology Ventures Inc. (ETV) SkyAI wind turbine inspection system was one of 12 technologies selected to proceed to the next round of competition and investor discussions in China
ALAMOGORDO, N.M. - May 22, 2019 - PRLog -- Emerging Technology Ventures (ETV) was one of 12 companies that were selected as winners at the 2019 InnoSTARS Houston Preliminary Pitch Competition. After an open call for online applications, ETV was one of 60 companies selected to participate in the 2019 InnoSTARS preliminary competition in Houston, TX on May 17th, 2019.

ETV provides custom autonomous system solutions and data analytics for defense, public safety, agriculture, critical infrastructure protection & inspection, and environmental management. Its leading-edge solutions are used to inspect and assess national infrastructure, including wind farms and dams, enable cost-effective crop assessment on farms, and provide a time-critical response to both man-made and natural disasters.

The 2019 InnoSTARS competition is a platform that connects US-based companies with Chinese investors, corporations, and strategic partners, to provide US technology companies a better understanding of the market opportunities available in China. While the InnoSTARS preliminary competition takes place in 10 US cities, the InnoSTARS Houston competition is the only preliminary held alongside the US-China Innovation and Investment Summit (UCIS). The agenda included many guest speakers representing the US and China, including Neil Bush, Founder and Chairman of the George H.W. Bush Foundation for China US Relations.

"We were honored to have had the opportunity to participate in the competition," said Cliff Hudson, CEO of ETV. "We had substantive discussions with Chinese companies and investment community in Houston and look forward to the path ahead in China."

"After two years of internal research and development of the SkyAI technology, the InnoSTARS competition was a critical step for us in the production, commercialization, and deployment of the technology, in US and worldwide markets. This success would not have been possible without the support of the State of New Mexico, City of Alamogordo, and the New Mexico State University Arrowhead Center economic development programs," said Hudson.
