Navigant (NYSE: NCI) today announced that Sheldon Ng has joined the firm as a managing director in its life sciences practice. In this role, Ng will lead Navigant’s San Francisco-based life sciences strategy consulting team and spearhead the firm’s center of excellence focused on supporting biopharmaceutical and medical technology strategic partnerships with health systems.

Ng brings nearly two decades of experience partnering with emerging and established biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies in areas such as intelligent personalized healthcare, value-based solutions, and strategic account management. He previously served as the vice president of strategy and analytics at Locust Walk, where he launched a practice to accelerate partnering and financing life sciences transactions. Previously, Ng led the commercial strategy practice for Health Advances and was head of Promidian’s San Francisco office, where he was responsible for establishing its West Coast business. Ng also held commercial and scientific leadership positions at IQVIA (formerly IMS Consulting Group), Hana Biosciences, Guava Technologies, Exelixis, and Chiron.
