CLEVELAND, OHIO – An infographic, created by Psych360, was recently launched displaying data measuring the average percentage of incidents experienced by residents in a Nursing Home including a Skilled Nursing Facility. This infographic provides a tool for Skilled Nursing Facilities to compare how they rank against the state of Ohio averages and national averages in multiple categories of care.
The information displayed sourced from medicare.gov and provides an easy to read view of averages on key indicators for both short-term and long-term residents. The infographic will be updated each time new data is available.
Key indicators include:
• Physical restraints used
• Falls with injury
• Antipsychotic medication administered
• Depression and behavioral symptoms prevalence
• Antianxiety/hypnotic medication used
“Psych360 is excited to be able to provide a practical tool for Skilled Nursing Facility directors and administrators to be able to gauge the psychiatric health of their facility,” says President and Psychiatric APRN Nicole Coniglio, RN, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, ACNP-BC.
The infographic will be available on the Psych360 website and on their Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Subscribers to the company’s e-updates will be emailed the infographic each time it is updated.
