Ed4Career Now Offering 4 Training Tracks for Cannabis Industry

Course bundles available through partnership with University of the Virgin Islands

Tampa, FL -- (ReleaseWire) -- 03/26/2019 -- Ed4Career is excited to announce the launch of four new training tracks for the cannabis industry, marking the online curriculum provider's initial foray into an industry that has seen considerable growth in recent years.

The new training tracks have been designed to prepare job seekers for the national certification examinations recently announced by the National Career Certification Board (NCCB). The new examinations establish high standards and much-needed national guidelines for the cannabis industry, which is expected to grow into a $50 billion industry in the United States within the decade, according to some estimates.

Ed4Career has partnered with the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) to offer the new training tracks. Each course bundle is available for the special price of $420.

Each of the new training tracks bundles three instructor-led courses, each lasting four weeks, for a combined 75 course hours that will prepare job seekers for careers in a variety of positions in the cannabis field. The course programs include the following:

- Budtender Track (courses include Dispensary Life, Beyond Buds and Cannabis Careers), which prepares job seekers for Certified Cannabis Budtender (CCBT) exam

- Cooking & Edibles Track (courses include Medical Marijuana, The Cannabis Kitchen and Cannabis Laws and Policies), which prepares job seekers for Certified Cannabis Edibles Professional (CCEP) exam

- Dispensary Management Track (courses include Cannabis Pharmacy, Start Your Own Cannabis Business and Cannabis Laws and Policies), which prepares job seekers for Certified Cannabis Dispensary Management (CCDM) exam

- Horticulture Track (courses include Cannabis Commercial Growing, Maximizing Quality Cannabis and Cannabis Laws and Policies), which prepares job seekers for Certified Cannabis Horticulture Specialist (CCHS) exam

"We're very excited to partner with UVI to offer these new cannabis course bundles to individuals who are interested in pursuing careers in this booming field," said Dr. Tricia Seymour, Chief Operating Officer at Ed4Career. "Being able to provide coursework that prepares job seekers to take the NCCB's new certification exams is a great opportunity for us to have an impact in the growth of the cannabis industry."

The courses offered by Ed4Career appeal to individuals who are looking to expand their skills and improve their marketability through user-friendly, self-paced and easily accessible online training opportunities.
