In trading on Wednesday, general contractors & builders shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.6%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Hovnanian Enterprises (HOV), off about 7.7% and shares of New Home Company (NWHM) down about 4.7% on the day.
