Dollar climbs after Trump’s call for weaker currency, Fed criticism over the weekend

The U.S. dollar is modestly stronger on Monday, apparently unmoved by a weekend speech from President Donald Trump where he repeated his desire to see a weaker greenback and criticized the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy.
