“In his 20 years with the Bank, Brent has contributed greatly to PlainsCapital’s growth and success in Dallas market, and his promotion to Region Chairman is a natural evolution of leadership for him,” said Jerry Schaffner, PlainsCapital Bank president and CEO. “We’re also confident in the newly expanded roles of Rob, Chris, and Brett as they join our six Dallas branch presidents to help lead our local banking teams. Their combined success in building and growing customer relationships has been instrumental in positioning PlainsCapital as the premier regional commercial and community bank in North Texas.”

Brent Raindl
Dallas Region Chairman
PlainsCapital Bank

In his newly appointed position as Dallas Region Chairman, Raindl will focus on optimizing PlainsCapital’s commercial banking relationships in the Dallas market, expanding the Bank’s lending portfolio through added business development support, growing PlainsCapital’s pool of talented lenders and helping to grow bankers’ professional and community networks.

Raindl most recently served as Dallas Market President. He joined PlainsCapital Bank in 1998 and was named president of PlainsCapital’s Preston Center branch in 2007. Following his promotion to Dallas Market President in 2015, he continued to oversee the Preston Center location. Active in the community, Raindl serves on the board of directors for NAIOP—the commercial real estate development association—and is currently board chairman of the Dallas-area chapter of Junior Achievement. He graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University with a degree in finance and earned his M.S. in management from the Naveen Jindal School of Business at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Robb Eggemeyer
Executive Vice President and Lending Officer
PlainsCapital Bank Preston Center

Eggemeyer succeeds Raindl in overseeing the Bank’s Preston Center location and managing the branch’s commercial lending team. His broad business management background working in the technology, wholesale distribution, real estate, professional services, and financial services sectors has played a prominent role in his 13-year career in commercial banking. Among his community involvement, Eggemeyer serves as chairman of the veterans committee for the Rotary Club of Park Cities and volunteers his time with the Dallas VA Hospital’s Vet to Vet program. Additionally, he serves on the Business Advisory Council for the University of North Texas at Dallas. Eggemeyer earned a B.S. in electrical engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a certified public accountant.

Chris DeFrancisco
Executive Vice President and Lending Officer
PlainsCapital Bank Gaston, Baylor University Medical Center

DeFrancisco is relocating from PlainsCapital’s Turtle Creek branch to join the Bank’s Gaston location near Baylor Medical Center. In his expanded role overseeing the Gaston branch, including the location’s commercial lending team, DeFrancisco brings added spheres of influence and depth of experience, particularly in commercial and industrial lending and investor real estate banking, to the Gaston location’s already strong health care lending practice. He joined PlainsCapital in 2007. Active in the community, DeFrancisco serves on the Addison DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) committee and is a member of the Addison Rotary Club. He also is a former City Council Member and Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the Town of Addison. DeFrancisco is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

Brett Butler
Executive Vice President and Lending Officer
PlainsCapital Bank Frisco Legacy

Butler was recently promoted from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President. In his new role, he will be moving from PlainsCapital’s Preston Center location to oversee the Bank’s Frisco Legacy branch, where he will be responsible for growing the location’s commercial lending practice. Butler joined PlainsCapital in 2004. He has served as a board member and treasurer of the Community Lifeline Center in Collin County for the past three years. Butler is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he earned a degree in finance, as well as an M.B.A. An active member of the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Tech University Alumni Association, he has held officer roles in recent years, in addition to serving as an organizing committee member for the Association’s Quarterly Business Briefing Series.
