UPDATE 2-Harris and L3 agree merger to become sixth-largest U.S. defense contractor

Military communication equipment providers Harris Corporation and L3 Technologies announced an all-stock merger on Sunday that will create the United States' sixth-largest defense contractor with a market value of $34 billion.
