These digital assets, minted on the Polygon network, have a minimal carbon footprint of just 0.4g CO2e, compared to the 708.18kg CO2e required to produce a traditional gold medal.
By adopting digital awards, the WBSC and other major federations could reduce their total carbon footprint from 4,000t CO2e to a mere 0.5t CO2e for each event, significantly lowering environmental impact.

Athletes now have the opportunity to create public galleries in the Legend Museum to showcase their achievements. Additionally, they have the option to list and sell their digital trophies on the Legend platform.
