Ameriprise Financial Gives Nearly $2 million in Grant Funding to Help Families and Individuals in Need

In recognition of the firm’s 130th anniversary, Ameriprise also donated an additional $130,000 to hunger relief organizations, providing more than one million meals to people in need

Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (NYSE: AMP) today announced it recently donated nearly $2 million to nonprofits across the U.S. as part of its first-round of 2024 grants. In conjunction with its robust volunteer program, the company awards grant dollars to nonprofits twice annually to strengthen communities and help individuals meet their basic needs and find paths to financial independence.

“Too many Americans lack access to basic needs such as food, emergency shelter, and affordable housing -- as well as job training and employment opportunities that could help put them on a path to economic self-sufficiency,” said Jennifer Jones, vice president of community relations at Ameriprise. “We have a longstanding commitment to nonprofits that provide these essential resources to individuals and families in need. We are proud to continue our support and help our nonprofit partners strengthen and foster resilient communities.”
