YuJa, Inc., a leader in enterprise video solutions, recently announced an agreement with Mott Community College (MCC), Flint, MI, to provide video hosting and distribution services. YuJa will replace MCC’s former product, Knowmia, which Techsmith removed from the marketplace.
In addition to a platform that integrates with Canvas, the institution’s learning management system, MCC was seeking a solution that offered closed captioning, screen recording, video editing, detailed analytics, and video quizzing, along with the ability to import video from other platforms.
Since Techsmith announced in early 2021 that it was phasing out enterprise education video hosting from its business model, YuJa has worked with a number of institutions to transition to YuJa’s robust, user-friendly Video Platform.
“By making the move to YuJa, MCC students and staff will be able to focus and deliver on its mission of providing high-quality, accessible and affordable learning opportunities,” said Nathan Arora, Chief Business Officer at YuJa, Inc. “We understand that choosing a comprehensive platform that meets a variety of needs for disparate groups can be challenging, which is why we work to make the transition smooth and to provide ongoing training and support.”
