QUEEN CREEK, AZ / ACCESSWIRE / December 6, 2024 / Earnhardt Auto Centers (EAC) announces the grand opening of Earnhardt Chevrolet at its new Queen Creek location on December 9th; a date also significant to the Earnhardt Family.
The day will be marked with special remarks from Mayor Julia Wheatley, Earnhardt family members, Representatives from Chevrolet and Management from the dealership.
"As Tex Earnhardt's grandson, December 9th is always special for me and my family," said Derby Earnhardt, Dealer Principal. "So, the day is a natural fit for a celebration also marking the movement of our franchise - and grand opening - of Earnhardt Chevrolet, here in Queen Creek."
Tex Earnhardt (who passed away in April of 2020 but would have been 94 today) was not-quite 21 years old when he secured his first new car franchise in 1951. He became an Arizona celebrity as the "cowboy car dealer who rode a bull in his commercials". It was an ironic truth as well, given that the famous "bull" he rode was actually a steer. His "No Bull" reputation was solidified for the Earnhardt organization when Tex [and family] backed-up the famous slogan with important tenets of their company values inclusive of having famous low prices, an emphasis on ensuring happy customers for life and a commitment to supporting the communities that support Earnhardt. It's made the Earnhardt Organization an industry leader for over 73 years. Today, Earnhardt Chevrolet is one of 17 dealerships in the Earnhardt portfolio and becomes the second new-car dealer in Queen Creek (aside of another franchise opened by the Earnhardts in 2017).
"When we first acquired this Chevrolet franchise in 2016, my dad was so proud. It was very special to him because it was a reminder of how far we'd all come," said his son Hal Earnhardt. "Our family and our incredible employees are dedicated to continuing his spirit in our stores; inclusive of a welcoming atmosphere and an unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction."
"It's wonderful to open up just in time for the holidays," added Derby Earnhardt. "Following the example set by my grandfather, our dealership staff is committed to being good neighbors while contributing to the development, growth and economic security of Queen Creek and surrounding communities."
The Earnhardt Chevrolet Grand Opening Event begins around 11:00 a.m. with speeches at 11:30 a.m., followed by photography and ribbon cutting activities which include store Owners, town dignitaries and representatives from Chevrolet. Located at 24645 South Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, AZ, the dealership is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday from 8am to 8pm and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
