(TSXV:ROI) (the "Company" or "Route1"), an advanced North American provider of turn-key engineering and professional services, announces that as of December 19, 2022 RSM Canada LLP ("RSM") informed that Company that it has identified that certain non-audit services related to RSM's recruiting of a prospective candidate for a management position at the Company are inconsistent with the Canadian Independence Rule 204.4(32) and accordingly, RSM has concluded that it is no longer independent. Accordingly, in accordance with its rules of professional conduct, RSM is required to resign as the Company's auditor for the year ended December 31, 2022 due to its lack of independence. RSM has agreed to accommodate a smooth transition to a successor auditor.

The Company expects shortly to announce a replacement for RSM in due course.
