MEMRI Chinese Media Studies Project Celebrates UN Chinese Language Day, Offers Free Subscription To Translated Reports, Analyses, And Videos

WASHINGTON, DC / ACCESSWIRE / April 23, 2021 / Earlier this year, the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) added Chinese to its growing list of priority languages. The MEMRI Chinese Media Studies Project is celebrating UN Chinese Language Day today and providing a free subscription to research providing a greater and more nuanced understanding of China, its people, its Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-led government, the CCP's ideology, and the CCP's regional and international aspirations.

For the past 21 years, MEMRI has sought to bridge the language gap between the Arab and Muslim world and the West by providing timely and impactful open-source material in English to Western audiences about the reality of the Middle East, translating primary source material from Arabic, Farsi, Turkish, Urdu, and Pashtu into English and other Western languages.

Since its launch, the MEMRI Chinese Media Studies Project has published over 100 reports and 50 clips. These clips have received over 1.2 million views on the MEMRI website and social media. You can view all the latest reports and analyses on the Project's website and all the clips on the Project's page on the MEMRI TV website.

The Chinese Media Studies Project covers subjects that include the following.

  • Chinese Communist Party
  • Anti-U.S. Rhetoric
  • Military & Security Developments
  • Regional Relations
  • Taiwan Independence
  • International Relations
  • Human Rights In Xinjiang
  • Democracy in Hong Kong
  • Chinese Culture
