USA Visa For Japanese, Portuguese, Mexico Citizens

US VISA FOR JAPANESE CITIZENS

Japanese citizens with valid passports can enter the United States by obtaining a US ESTA. The ESTA, or Electronic System for Travel Authorization, is a requirement for Japanese citizens who wish to travel to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program. The ESTA was created in 2009 to collect data from VWP visitors in order to determine whether they pose any security or immigration risks to the United States. With a valid ESTA, Japanese citizens can visit the United States for up to 90 days for a variety of reasons such as tourism, business, transit, medical, or short-term study. However, if the stay exceeds 90 days, a B1 business or B2 tourist visa is required. Japanese citizens can use an approved ESTA for multiple visits to the United States. An approved ESTA lasts two years or until the expiry date of your passport. If your ESTA expires, you will need to apply for a new authorization. The US ESTA application process for Japan is quick and easy.

America ESTA Requirements for Citizens of Japan

  • Valid Japanese passport. The applicant’s passport needs to be valid on the intended date of arrival in the United States
  • Valid payment method. To complete and submit the ESTA application, travelers must pay the application fee. This can be done with a valid debit or credit card.
  • Device with internet access. In order to fill out the application, travelers will need to use a device that has internet access, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
  • Valid email address. Finally, travelers are required to enter a valid email address on their application. This is to ensure that all notifications regarding the America ESTA status will be promptly delivered after the authorization has been approved.

BUSINESS VISA FOR USA

Millions of business visitors visit the United States each year, which is recognized as the global trade hub. The B1 visa allows you to establish commercial contacts and travel to the United States on a regular basis. When your current visa expires, you have the option of applying for a new one at any time. The US B1 business visa is intended for short-term business trips lasting 6-12 months, allowing for various business operations such as attending conferences and negotiating. The number of US business visas available is not limited, allowing for an unlimited number of recipients each year. This visa covers a wide range of activities in addition to active business transactions. If you are a citizen of a country participating in the Visa Waiver Program, there is no need to apply for a US business visa. Instead, you can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization System (ESTA). With the ESTA program, you don't have to go to the US Embassy in person and get your business visa much faster.

US VISA FOR PORTUGUESE CITIZENS

If you have yet to visit the United States, you may be wondering why it attracts so many visitors each year. Portuguese citizens can use the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) to apply for Visa Waiver Program (VWP) entry into the United States. ESTA was established in 2009 to process visitor data and determine whether they pose any security or immigration risks to the United States. For visa-exempt travelers, the US ESTA is required. Certain nationalities are required to register online in order to travel to the United States. An authorized ESTA allows Portuguese residents to visit the United States for up to 90 days for tourist, business, transit, medical, or short-term study purposes. For multiple visits to the United States, Portuguese citizens may use an approved ESTA. An authorized ESTA is valid for two years, or until the expiration date of your passport. If you intend to stay in the US for more than 90 days, you must apply for a B1 business visa or a B2 tourist visa. If your ESTA expires, you will need to apply for a new permission. Portuguese citizens wishing to apply for ESTA must meet the necessary ESTA requirements. Since the process is electronic, it is not mandatory to go to a US embassy to apply for the visa.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR PORTUGUESE CITIZENS?

  • Passport – you need to have a valid passport if traveling abroad. For US ESTA, nevertheless, you require an electronic passport with a digital chip that contains bio-metric data.

  • Payment method – You can use methods like credit/debit cards or a PayPal account to pay for the US ESTA fees.

US VISA FOR CITIZENS OF MEXICO

If you are a Mexican citizen and are unsure whether you need a visa to travel to the United States, please contact the US Embassy or Consulate in Mexico for more information. Individuals are typically allowed to enter without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP), which allows eligible nationals from certain countries to visit the United States for business or tourism for a maximum of 90 days. Mexican nationals who do not meet the VWP requirements must obtain a visa before visiting the United States. This includes Mexican nationals who have previously had their visas to the US denied, those with criminal records, and those who have already been deported. Visas are issued by US consulates and the embassy in Mexico City. Depending on the activity you will be doing in the US, there are several alternative visas available besides the tourist visa. Mexican individuals intending to travel to the United States must first apply for an AMERICAN VISA. The current non-refundable application fee for most visas is $131. Visit the US Embassy website for complete information on consulates, visa requirements and the application process.

US VISA AFTER CHANGING NAME

The DS-160 is the first step in the visa application process when visiting the United States on a temporary visa. Because this form is completed electronically, any errors that may occur are easily corrected. You can correct an error on a DS-160 that you recently submitted. Form DS-160 material errors can have serious consequences for your visa approval. Errors in biographical information that will appear on your visa (such as your name or birth date) as well as information that may affect your visa eligibility (such as the number of dependents you have in the United States or information on security issues) are examples of these. Material mistakes should be addressed as soon as possible. Correcting Form DS-160 after submission can be done in one of two methods, depending on whether the repair is submitted more than 30 days after the original submission. If your name has officially changed due to marriage, divorce, or a court order, you must obtain a new passport.  Once you obtain a new passport, the Department of State recommends that you apply for a new US visa to make traveling to and from the US easier.
