On October 2, 2009, Erika H. Turner, the Chief Financial Officer of Superior Industries International, Inc. (the "company") resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the company, effective October 23, 2009.  Emil ("Bud") Fanelli, Vice President and Corporate Controller since 1997, will take over as interim Chief Financial Officer pending the recruitment of a permanent successor.
 
A copy of the press release on October 7, 2009 regarding the above resignation is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report and is incorporated herein by this reference.
