ITEM 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
On February 9, 2007, Nuance Communications, Inc. filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q. The
financial results presented for the period ended December 31, 2006, include approximately $1.0
million of additional revenue associated with enterprise speech revenues
than was reported in the
Company’s earnings announcement on February 5, 2007. The additional revenue was identified through
the final process of verification that the company performs prior to
filing its Quarterly Report on
Form 10-Q. The adjustments resulted in a slight improvement to the company’s net income and had no
impact on earnings per share.
