ITEM 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On November 16, 2010, Brightpoint, Inc. (the “Company”) will participate in the Citi 7th Annual U.S. Small/Mid Cap Conference (the “Citi Conference”) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Additionally, on November 16, 2010 the Company will participate in the Merriman Capital Investor Summit 2010 (the “Merriman Conference”) in New York, New York. Certain senior executives of the Company will conduct one-on-one sessions with financial analysts and investors at both the Citi Conference and the Merriman Conference.
The Company’s presentations at both the Citi Conference and the Merriman Conference will be webcast live and will be accessible online through the Investor Relations section of the Brightpoint, Inc. website located at www.brightpoint.com. Audio archives of the webcast will be available for approximately 90 days following the live presentation.
Copies of the two presentation slide decks that will be used at both the Citi and Merriman Conferences are currently available on the Company’s website, www.brightpoint.com, at the Investor Relations section.
Copies of the presentation slide decks are also attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2. One set of investor presentation slides (Exhibit 99.1) includes financial information not prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (“Non-GAAP Financial Measures”). Exhibit 99.1 contains a reconciliation of the Non-GAAP Financial Measures included in the slides to financial information prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”), as required by Regulation G. The Company believes that the Non-GAAP Financial Measures provide investors the ability to better evaluate financial performance.
