ITEM 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
From March 23 through March 26, 2010, certain senior executives of Brightpoint, Inc. (the “Company”) will conduct one-on-one sessions with financial analysts and investors at the International CTIA Wireless Show to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Copies of the presentation slides for the CTIA one-on-one meetings will be available the evening of March 23, 2010 on the Company’s website, www.brightpoint.com, at the Investor Relations section.
A copy of the presentation is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference. The Company disclaims any intention or obligation to update or revise this information.
The investor presentation slides include financial information not prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (“Non-GAAP Financial Measures”).
A reconciliation of the Non-GAAP Financial Measures included in the slides to financial information prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”), as required by Regulation G, appears as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
The Company is providing disclosure of the reconciliation of reported Non-GAAP Financial Measures used in the investor presentation slides, among other places, to its comparable financial measures on a GAAP basis. The Company believes that the Non-GAAP Financial Measures provide investors the ability to better evaluate financial performance.
