Mark Bertolini talks to CBS about changing a ‘backwards’ health care system

The way the current health care system in the U.S. operates is backwards, Aetna Chairman and CEO Mark  Bertolini said in an interview with CBS This Morning on Monday. The system, he said, needs to be fixed so it helps people achieve their health goals and live a life they want to lead.

“People don’t define their health as a disease; they define health as a barrier to living the life they want to lead,” Mark said. “… If we understand that, person-by-person, we can actually solve that problem.”
