Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On April 7, 2009, Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the holding company for Berkshire Bank, announced that it expects to issue its first quarter earnings release after the market closes on April 29, 2009. The Company will conduct a conference call at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on April 30, 2009 to discuss the results for the first quarter and guidance about expected future results. Instructions on how to access the call are contained in the press release, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
