(e) On May 13, 2010, after assessing the performance and the status of the relocation of Mr. Kevin Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer of Juniper Networks, Inc. (the "Company") to the San Francisco Bay Area, the Compensation Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors authorized the Company to provide up to 100 flight hours on a private aircraft for the use of Mr. Johnson and his family for non-business travel completed on or before December 31, 2012. This arrangement will be considered taxable compensation to Mr. Johnson.
