Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On April 12, 2018, Michael J. Blitzer announced his intention not to stand for re-election to the Board of Directors of Destination Maternity Corporation (the “Company”) at the 2018 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, currently scheduled to take place on May 23, 2018. Mr. Blitzer’s decision was not the result of a disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices. On April 12, 2018, the Board of Directors of the Company resolved that the size of the Board of Directors would decrease from five directors to four directors effective upon the commencement of the 2018 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
