On April 28, 2009, as part of certain changes to its corporate organizational structure, which resulted in a reduction of approximately 40% of its workforce, Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. terminated Christopher M. Lal, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. The effective date of the termination is May 15, 2009.
