Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers

James S. Stalnaker, Jr., President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of CenterState Bank West Florida, a subsidiary of CenterState Banks of Florida, Inc. (the “Company”) resigned from all of his positions with the Company and its subsidiaries on Monday, March 12, 2007. Mr. Stalnaker was also a director of CenterState Bank Mid Florida, also a subsidiary of the Company. Chairman Ernest S. Pinner will assume the role of interim CEO of CenterState Bank West Florida effective immediately.
