Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On November 7, 2014, Bemis Company, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that it had completed the sale of its global Pressure Sensitive Materials business (known as “MACtac”) to Platinum Equity (“Platinum”), a California-based private equity firm, for a purchase price of $170 million, subject to customary post-closing adjustments. The Company had previously announced on September 8, 2014, that it had reached agreement to sell MACtac to Platinum. A copy of the press release announcing the transaction is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
