EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Amendment No. 1 to the Current Report on Form 6-K (“Amendment No. 1”) is being filed by Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (the “Company”) solely to replace the press release attached as Exhibit 99.1 of the Company’s Form 6-K furnished with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 18, 2014 (which included certain editing errors and differed from the actual press release issued by the Company on March 18, 2014) in its entirety with the document included as Exhibit 99.1 to the Amendment No. 1 (which conforms to the actual press release issued by the Company on March 18, 2014).
