Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On August 3, 2010, Force Protection, Inc. (the Company) issued a press release announcing its preliminary results of operations and financial condition for the fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2010. The full text of the press release issued in connection with the announcement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.

On August 3, 2010, the Company issued a press release announcing its preliminary results of operations and financial condition for the fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2010. The Company will host a conference call and webcast at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 to discuss its preliminary results of operations and financial condition and its business outlook.
