ARCADIS TO BE INCLUDED IN AMSTERDAM MIDKAP INDEX
ARNHEM, THE NETHERLANDS — January 31, 2008 — ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consultancy, design and engineering company, today announced that the Company’s shares will be included in the Amsterdam Midkap Index® of Euronext as of March 4, 2008. Currently ARCADIS is still part of the Amsterdam Small Cap Index® (AScX). The inclusion in the AMX is a result of the larger trading volume in ARCADIS shares, expressed in euros.
“This is an important step for ARCADIS, as it will increase the visibility of the Company, which is important commercially, but also in relation to our position in the labor market,” said Harrie Noy, CEO of ARCADIS. “In addition, we expect the tradability of the share to improve further, making it more interesting for investors to invest in ARCADIS.”
